 APD wins tender for Electrical Term Contractor for 3rd successive time.
APD has been the Electrical Term Contractor at the Chapelcross Nuclear Power Station since 2000. We are pleased to announce that we have secured this contract for an additional three year period after successfully tendering against four other companies.
The three year framework includes maintenance and new upgrades up to 2011 for the site, owned and operated by Magnox North, which is now in its critical and demanding decommissioning phase.
In addition to the competitive tender process, Magnox North took into account additional criteria such as Health & Safety, Quality and experience before awarding the contract.
